Cellist Alistair MacRae has appeared as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral principal around the world. His playing has been praised for its “rich sound and lyrical phrasing” and his performances have been featured in radio broadcasts across the United States. He teaches cello at Prince- ton University, is on the faculty of the Brevard Music Center, and also maintains a private studio in New Jersey.
Soprano Allison Pohl made her professional debut as Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro under the baton of Maestro Stephen Lord at Boston Lyric Opera. In the 2013 season, she will debut with Opera in the Heights in Houston, Texas as Nannetta in Verdi’s Falstaff. She has performed numerous roles in productions around the world and in 2012 undertook a ten-city concert tour of China.
